Diagnostic ultrasound & musculoskeletal imaging
Pioneering work in carpal tunnel ultrasound, forefoot imaging, ultrasound elastography of the liver and thyroid, and the role of ultrasound-guided injection therapy in musculoskeletal medicine.
Nuclear medicine
Early adoption and clinical evaluation of fusion nuclear medicine (Siemens Symbia SPECT-CT), quantitative bone scanning (xSPECT), and the development of Tc-PSMA for prostate cancer staging in Australia.
Regenerative therapies & PRP
Ongoing clinical research and review of platelet-rich plasma therapy in osteoarthritis, tendinopathy, and rotator cuff disease — with particular interest in PRP combined with hyaluronic acid for knee osteoarthritis.
